Progress Software Corporation is a Global software company specialising in the development, deployment and management of business applications. Their Thames Valley office was based on Bath Road Slough and Blue Fig were invited to put forward proposals for the design and fit out of their new offices at 3 Arlington square, Bracknell. Pitching in competition against some of the fit out industrys larger firms, Blue Fig were appointed following their presentation ( including VC with the Head Office in the US) because they gave the best design, were the most competitive on price and because the MD would run the project and oversee the works on site- something our competitors simply could not match. Due to a tight timescale and some works being undertaken on site by the Landlord, the project started on Christmas Eve 2010. The new office was designed with close consultation with the US Head Office and totalled in excess of 9,000 sq ft. Other organisations who had pitched for the project had advised Progress that the project could not be undertaken in their tight timescales but Blue Fig disagreed and delivered the completed project to a delighted client in line with their deadline. The works included the provision of a number of cellular offices, training rooms, meeting and conference rooms, new Comms Room and Break out area. A new reception area was also created and the meeting, reception and soft seating were supplied by Blue Fig. Following the successful delivery of this project, Blue Fig has also undertaken work for Progress in their Cambridge office and recently completed the fit out of their new London office in Tower 42
